A naming ceremony invite has a lovely built-in surprise: the name. With funvite's scratch-to-reveal invite, guests can scratch to see the baby's name, or you can keep the name for the ceremony itself and reveal only the date. Either way the invite goes out on WhatsApp, with the time, venue and a photo of the little one if you like.
What to include
- Parents' names, and grandparents if they are hosting.
- The baby's name, or a line saying it will be revealed at the ceremony.
- Date, muhurat or ceremony time, and the meal.
- Venue or home address with map link.
- A gift note, if you have one.
Keep it comfortable for mother and baby
The ceremony often happens soon after birth, so keep the guest list close and the event short. A morning ceremony at home with lunch after is common. If you would like a bigger celebration later, the first birthday is a good time for it.
