A funvite Durga Puja invite can carry that whole schedule in stories guests tap through, or open as an envelope with alpana patterns and a red-and-white border. Share one link with the pandal committee group or your family, and update it if timings change. Celebrating Navratri with garba instead? See Navratri garba invitations.
What a Pujo invite usually includes
- The days: Shashthi, Saptami, Ashtami, Navami and Dashami, with dates.
- Anjali timings, especially Ashtami pushpanjali, when the most people come.
- Bhog: which days, the timing, and whether guests need coupons.
- Sandhi puja timing — this changes every year, so check your panjika or the committee.
- Cultural programmes, dhunuchi competitions and adda evenings.
- Sindoor khela and Bijoya on Dashami, and the immersion plan.
- Venue, parking and a contact person from the committee.
Bijoya gatherings
After Dashami, families visit one another for Bijoya — pranam to elders, hugs to friends, and plates of sweets such as narkel naru and nimki. Many families send a Bijoya invite for an evening at home in the weeks after Pujo. It is a lovely, simple invite to send digitally to relatives who live in other cities.
