What every South Indian invite needs
Because the ceremony is early and the reception may be the evening before, the most common guest mistake is arriving on the wrong day. A digital invite helps here: each event sits on its own page with its own date, and you can update details after sending.
- An invocation — Vinayaka or Ganesha, Venkateswara, or your family deity
- Names with parents (and family or house names, as your community does)
- Muhurtham date, day and time window — and the night if it's after midnight
- Reception date and time, clearly separate from the muhurtham
- Mandapam or temple with a map link
- Meal timing — breakfast, sadya or bhojanam
Bilingual by default
Write the formal invitation in your language and add an English block underneath. Elders read the first; friends and colleagues read the second. funvite templates support Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam scripts.
